ALFALFA PELLETS

The interest aroused by dehydrated alfalfa, whose modern marketing is in a pelleted form, is related to the requirements of the animals from which we want always a greater production.

Their nutritive properties, places the dehydrated alfalfa in an intermediate position between ordinary forage and concentrated food, although it is significantly higher than these last because of its content of carotenes and xanthophylls, as well as various vitamin and mineral components (tocopherol, riboflavin unknown principles of growth, calcium and magnesium).

It is therefore an often irreplaceable food for the integration of concentration in the well-balanced blends for certain categories of animals, especially for poultry in general, breeding and reproduction pigs and cattle.

Food of high biological value, rich in active ingredients, with which it is possible to meet such demands, is considered as a precious resource in the scientific rationing, an ancient experience of more than 30 years has shown that dehydrated alfalfa flour can include the same level as protein concentrated foods.
